Elaine Nichols, EdD, RN, CNS, HTCP

Elaine began studying Healing Touch in 2002 through the Healing Touch Program™ and completed her training in June 2005.

Her private practice, Healing Touch of Medina, was established in June 2004. After finishing additional requirements, Elaine received initial certification through Healing Touch International in November 2005. In 2010 she met the recertification requirements of the Healing Touch Program™. Her current certification is in effect until November 2015.

Elaine’s professional background is nursing. She holds a BSN and MSN from the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Case-Western Reserve University and a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration from The University of Akron. She has an advanced practice Certificate of Authority from the State of Ohio as a Clinical Nurse Specialist as well as a RN license. In addition to her private practice, she is an independent nursing education consultant. Elaine retired from the University of Akron College of Nursing in 2003 where she held a faculty position as well as serving as the Associate Dean. She blends her nursing and teaching expertise into her Healing Touch Practice to provide clients with professional energy healing services.
